MENYASA II is a mindful intermediate vinyasa-style class that guides men through more creative sequencing, building off of the postures introduced in MENyasa I. This class further focuses on connecting ‘one breath to one movement’ and is designed to progressively open the body, accompanied by rhythmic meditative music. Typical MENyasa II postures may include a range of standing, seated and supine poses, twists, balancing postures, forward folds, inversions, back bends and targeted core strengthening to stretch and power up the body. Men can expect to experience increased flexibility, strength, stability, and overall calmness and clarity. If you already have a regular power/vinyasa yoga practice, you are likely ready to jump right into MENyasa II classes. We recommend that beginners have attended a few MENyasa I classes before attending their first MENyasa II.
