MENd is a slow movement therapy session designed to correct imbalances, prevent injury and enhance performance. Open your hips, release your lower back, and work out the kinks in your chest and shoulders. MENd combines yin-style yoga, stress relief techniques, and soft tissue stretching to elongate muscles and reduce tension and anxiety. An excellent practice for beginners, this class involves a series of passive seated and supine postures, typically held for 3-5 minutes at a time. MENd is the perfect supplement to more active classes like MENyasa, giving men of all levels plenty of time to explore the unique benefits of individual poses. The use of equipment like yoga blocks, pillows, or even rolled-up blankets/towels is encouraged to support the body, deepen alignment and achieve a state of total relaxation.
